10. The Diary

The diary which the girl received on her 13th birthday was more like an autograph book. She had decided that it was better if she used as a journal. The total number of pages for the diary are about 360 pages.

She had written her diary in the name of a person named Kitty. In other words, she had told her story knowing that the reader of her diary would be kitty. There were also some other names to whom the diary was addressed. It is also said that Kitty was one of the best friends of Anne.
