Every year, Christmas sees a lot of artists compile a Christmas album or release. A Christmas based song which becomes quite popular around the globe. Sometimes more than one artist or band also come together to make an album or song which is dedicated to Christmas. The best example would be the very popular song-“Do They Know Its Christmas Time (At All?)” by various famous artists. This is a very cheerful, smart, and brilliant approach for artists to gain the love and affection of fans and these kinds of Special festive songs also uplift the mood for Christmas. 3)      Coventry Carol -Sufjan Stevens

This talented singer compiled his songs related to Christmas between 2001 and 2006 which had many parts. This year, he released the Silver & Gold Songs for Christmas, Vols. 6-10. This has songs recorded between 2006 and 2012.

4)      Christmas in Heaven – Scotty McCreery

This wonderful song is from his festive seasonal album called “Christmas with Scotty McCreery”.

5)      Merry Christmas Darling (remake) – Christina Perri

This soulful singer who rose to fame with “Jar of Hearts” and “A Thousand Years” has released her Christmas album called “A Merry Perri Christmas” which has a compilation of some magnificent carols and festive songs which will surely soothe the heart.

6)      Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree – John Travolta And Olivia Newton John 

These 2 stars of the 1978 movie “Grease” recently released their holiday album named ‘This Christmas’, which includes covers of traditional Christmas songs as well as their new single ‘I Think You Might Like It’.  The album’s profits will benefit charities.

7)      Merry Christmas, Baby” (featuring Brad Paisley)- Colbie Caillat

After the success of “All of you’ in 2011, Colbie Caillat released a Christmas album called “Christmas in the Sand “in October. Brad Paisley’s (Whiskey Lullaby fame) presence in the song makes things warmer and more serene.

It’s been 50 years since Rod Stewart started his music career and it’s the first time he is making a Christmas album. The album is named “Merry Christmas Baby”. The album also has some wonderful carols.

As usual, CeeLo Green has managed to capture the attention of the public with his unique style. And since it’s Christmas, it sets in the mood for the party season in a more exciting way.
