The time is almost upon us once again to crown a new Miss World. 2012 marks the 62nd edition of the show and this year’s host city, Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, aims to put of a first class show at the Donsheng Fitness Center Stadium that is befitting of the contestants. 117 contestants from the farthest reaches of the globe competed this year in various categories with the aim of making down to the final 24, events included: Beach Beauty, Sports, Beauty with a Purpose, Multimedia Award and Top Model. 10) Markysa O’Loughlin
Marksya is a 20 year old “UNESCO Small island voice” ambassador from the small country of St. Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. The university student is a keen music fan and has the beauty to take her all the way to the big prize.
9) Wen Xia Yu
China’s representative in the 2012 Miss World contest is Wen Xia Yu, a contestant that has excelled in every event thus far. Her beauty is there for all to see and she is representing a nation of over 1 billion. Wen Xia Yu has a passion for playing piano and has studied music.
8) Jessica Kahawaty
Following in the footsteps of many hot Australian contestants in Miss World, Jessica Kahawaty has as much brains as she does beauty. The 23 year old speaks four languages, works as a television presenter and is in the final year of her law degree.
7) Mariana Notarangelo
Mariana is the Brazilian entry for the 2012 Miss World Pageant and has all of the attributes to go all the way in the competition. The 22 year old blonde beauty is a fourth year medical student and being accepted into medical school ranks as her proudest moment.

From the small Caribbean island of Jamaica, Deanna Robins has a smile as bright as the sunshine in her home city of Kingston. Deanna is an environmental biology student and enjoys dancing and sports.
5) Fiorella Migliore LLanes
Paraguayan entrant Fiorella Migliore LLanes is as hot as they come with jet black her and captivating blue eyes. The 23 year old was born in Asuncion and is an actress looking to break into the film industry. With these looks and the ability to speak five languages, I’m guessing she will.
4) Winnie Sin
Representing Macau China this year is Winnie Sin, a 25 year old sports commentator who describes herself as a “confident and determined person”. Her placing on the list is testament to her stunning good looks and excellent performance in the competition.
3) Linda Bartosova
The Czech Republic has produced a long conveyor belt of hot women and Linda Bartosova continues the trend. The 19 year old from the small town of Vysoke Myto in the country is a journalism student who looks as fabulous in an evening gown as she does in swimwear
2) Claudine Book
There has rarely been a list of the hottest Miss World Contestants over the years that hasn’t featured an entrant from the United States. This year’s is Claudine Book, a 20 year old film and business student from Los Angeles and a woman of striking natural beauty. Been chosen to represent a country of 313 million people gives testament to how hot Claudine is.
1) Shani Hazan
19 year old Shani Hazan is the Israeli entry for 2012 and tops this list of the hottest Miss World Pageant contestants this year. With beautiful brown eyes, flowing brown hair and perfect skin, the Israeli military service employee has a great chance of winning this year’s competition. Away from being beautiful, Shani is a vegetarian who hopes to one day become an actress and entertainer.
